My name is Kenya Duron Hernandez, and I was born and raised in from Yuma, AZ.  A proud child of migrant farm workers.  I have a bachelor in Sociology from NAU.  My background is in social work and behavioral health from the Department of Child Safety. I am very passionate about my field but, when I had my children I decided to leave it so that I can be more available for them.  Being a mom is the true calling I feel I was born to do.  I am also a yoga instructor which has really helped improve my physical health and I enjoy gardening with my family.

I have been a part of  ICCS for at least 7 years as a parent, volunteer and currently as an employee.  I am married with 2 children.  I am lucky to have every member of my family involved with the school either as a student or employee.  I am bilingual, and I am blessed to have the opportunity to help many in our community in both English and Spanish.  The ICCS community is very important to me and every year I am excited to get to know every family a little better.  I truly enjoy assisting families to find funds for their children's Christ centered education and help kick start that strong foundation in their faith and love for God that ICCS offers.
